Allegra side effects
Unfortunately side effects of using Allegra cannot be anticipated. If you feel that you develop any f side effect or feel that intensity of it is changing apply to your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine whether it is safe for you to continue taking Allegra.
Allegra does not usually cause drowsiness if a patient is taking it at recommended doses and under normal circumstances. However, this drug may make person dizzy sometimes; that is why you should be very cautious while driving, using machinery or any other activity that requires permanent attention.
Most common side effects of Allegra are:
- Using of Allegra may cause: Colds or flu, coughing, drowsiness, fatigue, fever, headache, indigestion, menstrual problems, nausea, pain including back or ear pain.
- Using of Allegra-D may cause: Abdominal pain, agitation, anxiety, back pain, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, heart palpitations, indigestion, insomnia, nausea, nervousness, respiratory tract infection, throat irritation.
If you experience any allergic reaction after taking Allegra (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat; swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives) you should stop taking medication and immediately apply to doctor.
Allergic reactions happen quite rarely. Other serious side effects are not likely to occur.
Some other minor side effects can also appear. Consult with your doctor about any of them that bother you.
If any of side effects persist or worsen, notify your health care provider or pharmacist promptly.
